ABOUT US
ACCTT began as an advisory group to
help form a sustainable well planned
theatre that supports performers in our
community. This mission evolved into a
greater mission to sustain local arts by
creating space not only for theatre but for
dance, music, visual arts and art
education. To focus on this need the
advisory group formed the Arts and
Culture Council of Truckee Tahoe.

With a focus on sustaining local artists while providing high quality education and space for rehearsals, ACCTT formed a stakeholders group from the community to help us develop a sustainable art center that would also help our local economy. Together we have realized there are multiple theatre projects in the works that could have happened at the same time in Truckee, and some in North Lake Tahoe. Together, we can streamline our efforts and planning with a regional feasibility study.
